Check a message, link or QR code
Found something suspicious? Choose what you want to check. DPP helps identify known warning signs and your next steps. You can also explore your public digital footprint, check photo metadata and try the Document Anonymizer.
The linked tools currently use Czech interfaces.
What do you need to check?
You do not need to know how the technology works. Simply choose the type of content you have.
Message or screenshot
Check a suspicious text message, email, chat or screenshot. DPP looks for warning signs and combinations that match known scam scenarios.
Link or domain
Examine a link’s technical structure before opening it. The tool shows the domain, selected warning signs and a comparison with the DPP Blacklist.
QR code
Upload an image or use your camera to see what a QR code contains. If it contains a web address, you can then check that address with DPP.
Looking for a known scam domain?
The DPP Blacklist contains publicly documented fraudulent and risky domains from verifiable sources. The Link / Domain Checker uses the same list.
Scam Domain Blacklist
Search the public list of known scam websites to see whether a domain appears in the records.
Take control of what you share about yourself
Find out which details about you can already be connected online. Before sharing, you can remove recognised metadata from photos or use the test anonymizer to find sensitive information in text.
Photo Metadata Cleaner
See what hidden information a photo contains and create a new cleaned copy without supported EXIF, GPS and other recognised metadata.
Document Anonymizer
Find supported sensitive information in text or a TXT file before sharing it or using it with AI. Always review the findings and the final text.
Digital Footprint Audit
Check where your usernames and contact details appear publicly. The guide prepares searches and helps connect findings that you verify on the original websites.
DPP Tools are designed to minimise data collection
If we do not need a piece of information for a tool to work, we do not want to collect it just because we can.
Locally where possible
Message text, QR codes, photos and other supported operations are processed in your browser wherever the feature allows it.
No central history
The tools do not require an account and do not create a profile recording what you have checked.
No “this is safe” verdict
DPP highlights detected signs and known patterns. The absence of warnings is never an absolute guarantee of safety.
How to read the traffic-light result
For message, link and QR checks, the colour summarises detected warning signs; it is not a safety percentage. The Digital Footprint Audit, Metadata Cleaner and Document Anonymizer have their own outputs without traffic-light ratings.
No known risk indicators found
Within its scope, the check did not find the warning indicators it looks for. This does not automatically mean the content is safe.
Extra caution recommended
Some detected signs or combinations deserve independent verification before you continue.
Significant risk indicators found
The tool detected strong warning indicators or combinations matching a risky scenario.
Have you already clicked a link, shared details or sent money?
DPP Tools primarily help check content. If you have already taken action, follow the guidance for your situation in Digital First Aid.
